Another card

Heh, birthday cards are always a good excuse to get some drawing in.

Of Mars

Drew this for a friends birthday right after seeing the film. The film to me, was an example of a man refusing to go campy or cyncially modern on somthing that's so dated most of us are somwhat jaded on. Props to him, I say: I got a bit confusing at times but less so then the potter or Lord of the rings in my opinion: and Burrough's no Tolkein and not even a Rowling :).

Heads or Tails

Another short idea... UGH for MONTHS I've been casually sketching the monster and the maiden sacrifice, but I still think they ended up kinda generic. Of course the idea's a bit of a generic brain over brawn/ too many cooks in the kitchen kind of idea. Still, to put it on the back-burner for now

Pies

AMAZING a mostly hand-drawn picture on pencil on here. Though my stupid scanner ain't working so I had to take a photo and uploaded it: so I had to do even more touch-up then usual.

Had three spare short film ideas I decided to dream up for future use, and thought i'd at least do one pitch sketch of them: in this case, one based around how i could never enjoy an old fashioned comedy pie fight without the pained though of good dessert being wasted, combined with the frustration of trying to hold onto artistic pride in crass commercial art.

I don't know if the grin really shows up here, but it took a LOT of molesting of the rig, heh; much of which I only got away with because he more or less transitions between two expression. Might be trickier with later shots if I don't learn how to hand the pose deformer with the bit more sophistication

more thought bubbles

Hmmm i wonder if I'm giving too much away, but eh, I think the thought bubbles by themselves still leave enough questions that it won't spoil anything. I should probably minimize CG shots more, though
