Discworld characters

Kept trying to do these for a while, but my attempts at watercolor with them failed, and I got fed up. It's a shame the guy got Alzheimer's, he's created some great characters in his lovely little world.
Here's Rincewind (a hapless Wizard cursed with adventure), Twoflower (An incurably optimistic tourist).
The Lancre witches, Nanny Ogg, Granny Weatherwax and Margrat Garlic (With Nanny's evil, highly reproductive cat Greebo).

And the Discworld's resident Death. A surprisingly sympathetic fellow whose "Escort Service" has made him for want of companionship. A cat person. Like me.

And it's terrible how long I am at seeing the really important movies, and only when I visited my family last week did I manage to see JUNO. It was a refreshingly un-melodramatic teen-pregnancy movie. I thought the teenage characters, which fall under stock-types I normally can't stand, were all quite lovable; the smart-ass counter culture girl, the cheerleader, and the sweet, unassuming boy. Kudos to fellow Canadien Ellen Page. Now I've just got to do a piece worthy of Kite-runner

These are really great man! I loved Juno too, I've gotten around to seeing most of the best picture nods this year, and still think Juno should have taken it.

Oh and I didnt make the cut for the Pixar internship as well, for animation. Doh well. Moving on!

Wow, lots of lovely new drawings. The Juno one is great. Sorry you didn't get into Pixar. Hopefully next time.

Sorry about the Pixar news. Perhaps next year they will do a better job of selecting their interns.

I love these Disc World Characters. Very nice. Death is awesome. But your representation of Juno is outstanding.
