blueblanket rough

Here's the rough I did for my attempt at 3D. Lets say if I can do a good job of it on a Pixar quota (I heard they did about 3 seconds a week)...

Any thoughts in the rough stage?

Cant wait to see it in 3D. Sharp blocking so far , and I love all the little hand flurries and foot scrambles. What rig are you planning to go with?

-The "Max for Maya" one. I think I've seen you use it in your animations from time to time.

I love watching animation tests! Are you doing thumbnails in flash or photoshop, then drawing on paper like the Baker one below? These are really cool, good to see people actually animating!

PFG- The roughs are done in flash. This one I'm doing in CG. I'm not prejudice to one or the other, as long as the designs and the writing is good.

HEhe Mel Brooks. The Producers, such an awesome movie! So expressive to animate to, good choice.
In the movie when Nathan lane starts yelling "were trapped" on the roof. When he was on broadway the door on stage was accidentally locked and he started yelling "were trapped" so the crew could come unlock the door. It stuck and has been in the play and movie ever since.. Anyways much luck with this..
